Little Flowers Registration

The Little Flowers Ministry is open to any 1st - 5th grade girl. We meet twice a month (usually 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6:30pm – 7:30pm) in the youth room.  Each month we focus on a specific saint and virtue. The girls get to participate in a craft or activity at each meeting as well as hear about the saint and virtue for the month from various volunteers.

Monthly Meetings
Once again, this year, we will divide the girls by grade 1st-3rd and 4th-5th for the teaching sessions. This provides a better opportunity for learning.
The 4th and 5th graders will be led by Jennifer Engquist and a volunteer. The 1st-3rd graders will be led by parent volunteers for the teaching portion. Julia Padgett and Bethany Bessesen will organize the art section each meeting for the 1st-3rd graders.

Each meeting will be spaced out to better accommodate our large group:
6:30pm – Opening prayer in the Youth Room (all girls meet here)
6:35pm – 4th and 5th graders transition to cafeteria
6:40pm – 1st – 3rd graders Group A transitions to art room for craft; Group B stays in Youth Room for teaching
7:00pm - 1st– 3rd graders Group A and Group B switch
7:20pm all LF return to Youth Room for final prayer

We are seeking volunteers to teach the virtue the 1st-3rd grade each month (you do one month's of meetings only), craft/activity for 4th & 5th grade each month (again each month is separate), and a greeter/time keeper for each meeting. We are asking for 1 leader and 1 assistant for each meeting for the 1st – 3rd graders.  The Leader will present the month's virtue in any manner you wish, talk, video, game, interactive activity, etc. You will present the teaching twice at each meeting (as we have two groups that rotate between the teaching and art) and about 20 minutes for each group.
