  • Children's Choir

The Children's choir sings at the 9:30 am Mass once a month October through May. They rehearse Wednesday evenings in the church from 5:00-5:45 pm beginning September 19. They also sing at special prayer services, concerts and perform a spring musical. This choir is open to children grades 2 through 6. Contact Ben Wedler in the parish office for more information.

  • Children's Liturgy of the Word

This ministry is offered to all children ages 4 to 6 during the 9:30 am Mass. Children arrive with their parents for Mass and join the assembly for the Introductory Rites. After the Opening Prayer, the children are dismissed to the Parish Hall with an Adult Leader and Youth Assistants; there they hear and discuss the Sunday Gospel, adapted for children, and participate in song/activity. The children rejoin their families after the Prayers of the Faithful for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Registration is not required for participation in this ministry. It is not mandatory nor is it a religious education class. It is a Celebration of the Word at a developmentally appropriate level. If you would like more information or would be interested in volunteering for this ministry, please contact Kim, Director of Youth Formation, in the parish office.

  • Little Children's Holy Hour

The Little Children's Holy Hour is every Tuesday from 11:00 am-12:00 pm in our Divine Mercy Eucharistic Chapel. All parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their little ones to Jesus during a time specifically set aside for kids to worship God as kids, where they can squirm and wiggle while spending time in front of the blessed Sacrament. In the Chapel is also a kids' corner with religious books, coloring books, and toys. While families are encouraged to come and adore Jesus anytime during the week, this hour often helps relieve parents worries about however quiet or loud, still or active their children may be while praising God.

"Let the little children come to me..."
  • Little Flowers Girl's Club

Little Flowers is a program for 1st-5th grade girls where they learn about different virtues by earning badges after completing different activities. These activities include lessons about different saints, games, art and singing. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:45 pm, typically in the Youth Room.

  • Vacation Bible School

Offered each summer, this weeklong program relies entirely on adult and teen volunteers in the planning and implementation of the program with guidance from the Director of Religious Educa-tion. It is attended by both Catholic school and Religious Education students in preschool through grade 5 and is a fun way for kids to grow in their relationship with God and have fun playing games, doing crafts, and bonding with their peers. Anyone interested in being a member of the VBS planning team is encouraged to con-tact Kim, Director of Youth Formation.
