The conflicts of the early Christians in Corinth are in many ways similar to our struggles today as Christians. They, too, witnessed division, scandal, immorality, persecution and other trials. In First Corinthians: The Church and the Christian Community, an eleven-part Bible study, learn how St. Paul addressed these struggles by introducing the Corinthians to God’s greatest gift–the Eucharist.
We will meet every Thursday beginning January 16 through March 26.
There are two sessions. The morning session is from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, and the evening session is from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The class can also be taken via independent study by enrolling in either session. Please contact Carole Yaney at cyaney@seasfw.org if you enroll in the course as an independent study.
The Registration is available online by clicking one of the buttons above. Online registration will allow materials to be mailed directly to participants as well as access to videos online. You can register online anytime. Manual registration forms will be available in the Gathering Area through January 6. The cost of online registration is $33.10 (including tax and shipping and handling) and the cost to register manually in the Gathering Area is $35.
